In this media age, you know its heading towards Easter when the Cadburys Crème Eggs add appear on the TV. It may not be the most traditional way to recognise Easter for many Australians but along with the Christian celebration and reflection it’s a popular time to spend quality, meaningful time with the family.

The Royal Easter Show – The iconic Royal Easter Show brings back warm fuzzy feelings for adults who used to love to go as a kid and will do the same for this generation. The sprawling show out at Homebush will house hundreds of types of animals, entertainment to keep you amused all day, fresh produce and of course the legendary show bags. Great fun for all the family.
Darling Harbour – The successful Hoopla! Festival heads back to the harbour for the long weekend. The event is free to attend and will inject colour and acrobatics to the harbour area. Stuntmen, twirlers, acrobats, dancers and street performers will all be in attendance to amaze and excite you. The kids will love this one.
Hunter Valley Gardens – If you want to look escape a little further out of the city then head to the Hunter Valley Gardens. The gardens will host a phenomenal Easter egg hunt with thousands of little coloured eggs hidden for the kids to find. Each child receives a Cadburys chocolate gift.
